Runs

For each run, an event with all practical details is posted in the 🏃 Running group.

RSVP and updates:

• RSVP for every run you plan to attend.

• If you can no longer make it, update your status. This lets us know if we need to wait for you at the start of the run.

• Before you leave, check the group for last-minute changes due to bad weather or other issues.

Our routes:

Bois de la Cambre / Ter Kamerenbos:

• Schedule:

  • Usually Sunday mornings, but keep an eye on the 🏃 Running group for updates

  • Start at the park entrance near Legrand tram stop, finish at the kiosk for cool-down, coffee and socialising approximately 1 hour later

• Routes:

  • • Komoot - Wikiloc - GPX files

  • Shorter base route (3.6 km): around the lakes, with optional lake loop extensions (2.6 km)

  • Longer base route (7 km): to the hippodrome, with optional hippodrome extensions (1.6 km) and/or lake extensions (2.6 km)

Other:

• Our other runs usually take place in smaller parks. In this case, we run in loops, and the coach can guide you with the route.

Good to know:

• Wear appropriate footwear, as paths may be unpaved or muddy.

• We do not provide storage space. If you need to store a jacket, please coordinate with the other runners. We sometimes lock a backpack to our bike, but this is of course at your own risk.

• Keep in mind that runners are not covered by group insurance.
